Selenite, a variety of gypsum nicknamed "Liquid Light," produces a clear, purifying energy that can be used to charge other stones and jewelry, or can be placed in a corner or windowsill to protect against life's hidden spiritual buildup. Named for the greek goddess of the moon - Selene - its energy was believed to wax and wane with the moon's cycles. Its pure energy can be used to cleanse the energy that builds up in other stones after being worn over time, or can be placed on a windowsill to absorb the energy from the Sun or Moon, and dissipate that energy throughout your home, or be placed in a pocket for easy transport and portable cleansing. Our Selenite comes from Morocco and is delivered with a natural rough finish. You may choose to polish your selenite if you’d like, but please be mindful to not use water when polishing, as this can cause this gypsum-based mineral to deteriorate. Selenite can be easily polished with a fingernail buffing tool. This bundle includes a large 5” piece of Selenite.
